@marcelweiss I hope not. Cash as a contrast to card payments etc. seems pretty helpful to informal economies, underground stuff, beggars and other poor. It eases street donations, activities outside state control (how do you buy your weed?), etc. Sure, in a lot of these cases one could say "there shouldn't be this need for money in the first place", but as long as that's what we have to work with, cash seems to allow for many social relaxations that card payments etc. seem to hinder. I'm curious how proponents of cashless money systems propose to solve these issues …?
